We are Hell

Hell Throne is a relentless thrash and death metal force forged in the fires of aggression and speed. Combining razor-sharp riffs, blistering solos, and ferocious vocals, the band delivers a sonic on-slaughter that pays homage to the old-school thrash and death metal legends while carving their own brutal path. Hell Throne thrives on pure intensity, commanding the stage with unstoppable energy. Prepare for unrelenting mayhem -- this is thrash at its most savage.

Our Story

Founded in 2021, Hell Throne is based out of Phoenix, Arizona by vocalist and lead guitarist Dave Kirk. Drummer, Rowe Bitsilly, was added to the band in July of 2021 when he responded to an advertisement for the band. Lead vocalist and band artist Dexter Dale joined the band in April of 2023 after being featured on the single "King of Death". Our Bassist, Loren Anthony, joined the band in December of 2023 after being featured as a guest performer at the Navajo Nation Metal Fest Djj'. Last but not least, Ernest Capono, joined the band as a guitarist in April of 2024 after reaching out directly to the band founder.
Hell Throne is a mixture of thrash and death metal in musical style. A more precise comparison would be a blend of thrash metal legends "Slayer" and godfathers of death metal "Cannibal Corpse" fused together with a "splash" of death metal band "Suffocation."

Meet The Band

Dave Kirk

Vocalist, Lead Guitarist & Founder

I founded Hell Throne in July of 2021 and we had our first show in March of 2022.

My top five favorite bands are: Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, early Sepultura and Pantera. The first album I fell in love with was Pantera's "Cowboys from Hell" which I acquired at the age of 6.

I don't have many hobbies currently other than writing for and performing with the band. In my early 20's I was physically in active sports such as boxing, Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu. Between work, being a husband and writing new material for Hell Throne, my free time is usually very limited.

Fun fact about myself, I've been a strict metal head for 24 years. After meeting my wife and spending all of my time with her, she introduced me to new music that opened me up to new artists during our long road trips such as Nicki Minaj, Bad Bunny, Sexxy Red, Selena and plenty of similar artists.

Dexter Dale

Lead Vocalist

I am co-owner and Front Man of Hell Throne. I have been part of Hell Throne since April of 2023. My first show with the band was in Gallup, New Mexico opening up for Sanguisugabogg. My top five favorite bands are: Trivium, Marilyn Manson, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God and Machine Head. There are many more bands that I admire but these are some of my favorites.

I am from Twin Lakes, New Mexico. I am Diné (Navajo). Some of my favorite things to do is to crank 90s on Fortnite and Apex. My first career choice was to become a chef after high school. As a currently certified Sous Chef with the American Culinary Federation (ACF), I chose to teach high school culinary arts classes. I am also the wrestling coach for the high school.

I like cartoons, ramen noodles, chicken wings, bologna sandwiches with hot Cheetos in them. There is plenty more about me, if you see me, ask me!

Loren Anthony

Bassist

I joined the band in 2023 after the Navajo Nation Metal Fest Djj' when I performed as a guest bassist. My vocalist hates that I say I'm just the bassist. However, that is really who I am in Hell Throne. I take my role in this band with the highest respect. My involvement in Hell Throne is seeing them succeed. I see so much potential with these guys. It is also great that they are fun to work with. I am known as the Cheii of Metal for the southwest, but am so grateful to be known for my accomplishments.

Fun fact about me, I am married to my beautiful wife and am the father to an incredible daughter. I consider this to be one of my greatest victories in life. My firm career still thrives as I multitask my wood hauls for the elders and work on my side hustles to speak motivation to addicts, youth and prevention programs all over Indian Country.

If aliens came and said it's time to go, then maybe I would.

Rowe Bitsilly

Drummer

I joined the band in July of 2022. I have been a drummer for a long time but Hell Throne is the first band where I feel like I have found my place. I invest my talent into this band and have learned a lot through our journey together. My top five favorite bands are: Ozzy Osborne, Slayer, Devil Driver, Motley Crue, and Dying Fetus. My drumming influences have mostly come from: Tim Yeung, Randy Castillo, Krimh, Tommy Lee, and Joey Jordinson.

I was born and raised in Gallup, NM. I am Diné (Navajo) and Mexican. I have been drumming for 18 years and currently live in Phoenix, Arizona. I am very active in taking care of my health, I enjoy going to the gym, and eating Italian food.

Fun fact about me is that even before I started drumming in the band I helped set up stages and performances for many bands touring on the Navajo Nation. This gave me the opportunity to network with traveling bands and pick up a lot of helpful tips and tricks.

Ernest Capono

Guitarist

I joined the band in April of 2024. I am the guitarist in the band and also help with vocals from time to time. I joined the band when I reached out to founder, Dave Kirk, and asked if there was an opening as I was interested in the type of music and the performances that Hell Throne was putting on. My top five favorite bands are: Slipknot, Metallica, Nirvana, White Chapel and Cannibal Corpse.

I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona with a diverse background. My lineage traces back to Filipino and Mexican roots.

I have always considered myself to be an artistic person. My hobbies outside of writing music include singing, painting, film creating and writing story boards. I also enjoy going to local and mainstream concerts with my friends to expand my musical knowledge and range.
